Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
CoC Analytics is an independent companion app that displays publicly available Clash of Clans player and clan information retrieved from third-party game data services. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Supercell Oy.

2. Scope
This Policy applies to the CoC Analytics mobile application distributed on Google Play (and any other store where we publish the same App), and to the informational website that hosts this Policy.
3. Information we process
3.1 Information you provide
- Player or clan identifiers you search or enter (for example, player tags or clan tags such as
#ABC123, and clan name search queries). These identifiers are used solely to retrieve and display the corresponding public game data. - Optional account sign-in via Google. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may share with the App basic account information associated with your Google account, such as your email address, display name, profile photo URL, and account identifiers / authentication tokens, depending on the permissions you grant. Today, the App uses Google Sign-In for authentication purposes within the client; we do not operate a separate user account backend that stores this information on our servers.
- Optional form fields shown in login/registration screens (for example, email or name fields). If those fields are not submitted to a server operated by us, any text you type remains on your device until you leave the screen and is not uploaded by the App.
3.2 Information processed automatically on your device
- App language preference (locale code such as
en,es,pt,fr, orit), stored locally on your device using on-device preferences storage so the App can remember your language choice. - Temporary in-memory cache of recently retrieved public game data, kept only while the App is running (or for a short session window) to improve performance. This cache is not written as a permanent user profile on our servers.
- Standard technical communications data necessarily processed when your device connects to the internet (for example, IP address as seen by third-party servers you contact through the App). We do not operate our own analytics backend that collects this for advertising profiling.
3.3 Public Clash of Clans game data
The App retrieves publicly available player and clan information from the official Clash of Clans API operated by Supercell (and may load related public assets/images from content delivery hosts used for game graphics). This may include names, tags, trophies, clan membership, troop/hero/spell levels, achievements, league information, and similar public profile fields exposed by the game API.
We do not ask you for your Supercell account password. Looking up a tag does not grant us access to private account credentials.
3.4 Information we do not intentionally collect
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising SDKs in the App.
- We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar product-analytics/crash SDKs in the current App build described by this Policy.
- We do not request access to your device camera, microphone, contacts, precise GPS location, or photo library for the core features described here.
- We do not upload user-generated photos, files, or messages to servers operated by us.
4. How we use information
We process information only as needed to:
- Provide App functionality (search, display, and compare public player/clan statistics);
- Remember your language preference on your device;
- Enable optional Google Sign-In if you choose to use it;
- Secure, maintain, and improve the App’s reliability and user experience;
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- Communicate with you if you contact us about privacy or support.
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we rely on one or more of the following bases, as appropriate:
- Performance of a contract / service delivery — to provide the features you request;
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve a free companion app in a way that does not override your rights;
- Consent — where required (for example, optional Google Sign-In permissions you approve);
- Legal obligation — when we must process or retain information to comply with law.
6. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal information. Depending on how you use the App, information may be processed by the following categories of third parties:
- Supercell / Clash of Clans API — to retrieve public player and clan data you request. Their practices are governed by Supercell’s own terms and privacy materials.
- Google — if you use Google Sign-In, Google processes authentication-related data under Google’s policies. Google Play services on your device may also process data as part of distributing and running apps from Google Play.
- Content / asset hosts — the App may load public images or static game-related assets from third-party hosts (for example, game asset CDNs). Those hosts may receive standard technical request data such as IP address.
- Service providers we may use in the future solely to host this website, send transactional email, or operate infrastructure, under contracts that limit use of personal data.
- Authorities — if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Important: because lookups go to third-party APIs, those providers independently receive the tags/queries you ask the App to fetch. We do not control Supercell’s or Google’s independent processing.
7. International transfers
Third-party services used by the App (including Supercell and Google) may process data on servers located in countries other than your own. Where required, those providers are responsible for implementing appropriate transfer mechanisms under their own compliance programs.
8. Data retention
- On-device language preference: retained until you clear App data, uninstall the App, or change the preference.
- In-memory cache: temporary; cleared when the App process ends or the cache expires.
- Google Sign-In session data on device: managed by the Google Sign-In / OS components according to your account choices; you can sign out from within the App where that feature is available, or revoke access in your Google Account permissions.
- Support emails you send us: retained only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable business record, unless a longer period is required by law.
We do not maintain a remote user profile database for CoC Analytics at the time this Policy is effective.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of a client-side companion app (including use of encrypted HTTPS connections for network requests). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please protect your device with a passcode/biometrics and keep your operating system updated.
10. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it from systems we control.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because most App data is either public game data fetched on demand or stored only on your device, many requests can be fulfilled by you directly by:
- Clearing the App’s storage / cache in system settings;
- Uninstalling the App;
- Signing out of Google Sign-In and/or revoking the App’s access in your Google Account;
- Contacting us at the email above for any residual requests regarding information you sent us directly (for example, support emails).
12. Google Play Data Safety disclosures
The data practices described in this Policy are intended to align with the Data Safety information we declare in Google Play Console. If our practices change (for example, if we add analytics, cloud accounts, or advertising), we will update this Policy and our Play Console declarations before or at the time those features roll out.
13. Third-party links and services
The App and this website may reference third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review Supercell’s and Google’s privacy documentation.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, when changes are material, take additional steps as required by law (such as in-app notice or an updated Play Store listing). Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires express consent.
